PhD in Complex Systems for Quantitative Biomedicine
Research topics
Expertise:Lymphomagenesis
Research interests:Hematopathologist at Weill Cornell Medicine. Primary expertise: lymphomagenesis, tumor microenvironment. The current interest of the Lab is deciphering the role of transcription factor STAT3 in the development and maintenance of the neoplastic phenotype. The laboratory is dissecting the role of tumor-host interaction and pro-survival signals of the CAF and Endothelial cells counteracting drugs and enforcing the emergency of refractor clonal populations. We implement a battery of methods including genome-wide, deep target sequencing and chromatin accessibility, and CHIP-seq and genomic screening using primary lymphomas and patient-derived tumor xenografts.
