• Description: SciLifeLab Data Centre is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Data Engineer with expertise in visualization and design. You will work with data from genomics, proteomics, microscopy, chemical biology and several other areas, but also operational and scientometric data from bibliometry, performance indicators, financial data, etc. You will work integrated with a team of scientists, coordinators data engineers and system developers at the core of SciLifeLab’s national research infrastructure. This position includes development of data-driven decision support systems for management and operations with analysis and visualisation of reporting data, development of graphical web services and dashboards, and analysis of retrieved data from SciLifeLab software and hardware systems. This position also includes design of graphical user interfaces, web services and documentation.
