- Description: Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Bioinformatics to study molecular mechanisms underlying T-Cell exhaustion by integrating System and Synthetic Biology approaches within the Synthetic and Systems Biology for Biomedicine Research Line. The project Synthetic-TrEX, financed by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement N. 852012), aims at engineering T cells that resist the dysfunctional state that hampers the immune system response against chronic infection and tumors. The successful candidates must hold a PhD and have a previous experience with analysis of RNA sequencing and proteomic data.
