• Description: Scholarships granted by the Rectorate of the University of Fribourg for foreign researchers (with residence outside of Switzerland) to undertake a research stay at the doctoral level, in Fribourg.
• Duration: 5 months (no extension possible)
• Deadline:
  February 28th for a stay that starts between the 1st and the 15th of September of the same year. (The link to the registration is open starting from October 1st).
  July 31st for a stay that starts between the 1st and the 15th of February in the following year. (The link to the registration is open starting from May 1st).

• The scholarship of the University of Fribourg can not be combined with another grant. Depending on the amount, it could be interesting though to make a research stay “coming with your own funding” with your scholarship.
